Woodlands provide healthy snacks and well-balanced meals, including a vegetarian option, for the children each day. We take into account the cultural and dietary needs of individual children, including any food allergies.
Meal times are social occasions where children learn important skills. The staff team encourage good table manners and help the children to become independent using cutlery and pouring their own drinks.
Through the varied menus and the children’s weekly opportunities for cooking we encourage the children in our care to become aware of healthy eating and to try new foods.
The children are encouraged to make their own choice and decisions about food and drinks, the parents are informed on a daily basis of the meals your child has eaten during the day.
