At Woodlands Nursery we are very proud of our well-qualified staff team. All of our staff are qualified or are working towards a level 3 qualification in childcare.

Our staff team all have current Paediatric first aid training and up to date child protection training.

It is our policy to encourage staff to undertake further training to continually update their skills, knowledge and experience.

We pride ourselves on our long standing staff team with a good mix of mature and young as well as male and female staff, who take the time to get to know you and your child.

Keeping our staff team happy is important to us; a happy team promotes the well being of all of the children in our care.

Every child has a key person (an experienced member of staff responsible for your child’s individual needs) upon joining the nursery. The key person will build a special relationship with you and your child to ensure that your child’s experience of our nursery is a happy and successful one. The key person will also monitor and keep confidential records of your child’s progress and achievements. These records are always available for you to see and contribute towards.

The staff are an integral part of the team and work very hard. Each term staff are offered training to update their qualifications and skills. We also hold regular meetings to keep the team informed and is a way for the staff to contribute, to keep the nursery moving forward.
